NFL Week #1 Picks

As I mentioned in my last post, week # 1 in the NFL is hard to game. But this is what we do here so here we go.

I’m going to give you actual bets I make for a separate account that I’ve created just for Extra Point (Football Blogs).

Any winnings from this account will be given to charity. At some point during the season I’ll place a poll of some charitable options and we will let the readers decide where the money goes. I’ve placed $1,000 into an account for the season and we will track my progress. Let’s hope that some charity does pretty well for itself…….

We will primarily play NFL games but from time to time we’ll play some NCAA Football games as well. The number of plays each week will depend on the matchups and situations presented. As I’ve mentioned my strategy is to start slow until the character of the season starts to unfold. This week’s picks are as follows.

$50.00 on the New York Jets +4.5

$25.00 on the New Orleans Saints / Detroit Lions UNDER 49.0

$50.00 on the Florida Gators -36.0
